How soon can I safely rubb/scratch my eye after cataract surgery?

Hello,

I had cataract surgery approx. 2 months ago, on my left eye.
I am 25 years old, yes, 25. In 2 days i'll have my right eye operated as well.

My question is :
So far, since the surgery on the 1st (left) eye, when ever I have the urge to rubb my eye, I rubbed the right eye instead (:
Sounds silly I know... but it did the trick!  -  Now that I will get my right eye operated as well, I will be all out of eyes to rubb.

When can I safely rubb my eye again after the surgery, Will it be perfectly safe? (As safe as rubbing an eye without IOLs)?

Eitam.

Never rub the eye hard even if you have not had surgery. Very light scratch on closed lid is not harmful.
