Transparent Spots in Vision? Optic Neuritis?

I have recently been experiencing what I believe to be optic neuritis, but I am not sure. I am 22 years old & recently had an eye exam (end of January). I took the vision field test & everything & was told everything checked out ok. Just this past Friday - I noticed that in my right eye, I have almost a sensation of an ocular migraine (I've had these in the past) where it looks like I've been staring into a light. However, when I close the left eye and look out the right, I can see fine. I have had some pain (almost in the brow bone area, more of a dull ache) - and it seems to get worse when I look at computer screens. It's less noticeable when I have my glasses on & although it doesn't cause any true visual problems - it's causing me to worry. I cant focus on the spots or anything since they're not really SPOTS - it's more of just a darker area - but like I said - it doesn't seem to be there when I look out one eye alone. Does this sound like optic neuritis? I have a doctors appointment next week but just wanted some opinions. I was thinking it possibly had to do with the new glasses I've been wearing since I wear them on and off (slightly nearsighted & my right eye is a bit worse) & not continuously. Let me know what you think.
