First noticed this problem while flying the Air Force. They sent me to a regional hospital where they tested my eyes for a day and half, then told me the problem was generated by stress.
If you look across the hood of a car on a HOT day, like 100 degrees plus, you might see what I have. Opaque things crossing back and forth, irregular shapes. I can see directly in front of myself, but peripheral vision is blurred by these "things".
How do I currently get rid of them? Sit in a dark room a few hours is one way. I am typing this with a baseball cap on, INSIDE my house, that helps. Eliminating stress helps, but I currently have multiple things bothering me. Not life shattering, just major irritants.
I do NOT get these "Stress Points" (???) by looking into bright lights, or headlights, etc. I never get headaches that last over 30 seconds (Thank You Lord - I feel so sorry for people who live with that), my sinuses are open, I am at sea level, I am on about 15 prescriptions (down from mid-20s) mostly Respiratory, pain, GERD, Oral Surgery follow up Anti-Biotics like Cipro, Restless Legs Syndrome, CCHS. Carpal Tunnel that is caused by a problem in my upper back.
But no matter how bad I feel, or have felt, my heart smiles when my wife and family are around (Medic Alert/Service/
Therapy Dog is family). Sorry this is so long. I am trying to provide answers from various approaches. I have not had my eyes checked in slightly over a year. Did I mention Opiates have messed up my memory? At 62, I have most of the warning signs of Dementia and THAT scares me to death. My dad had Alzheimer's, but he was around 85 when that hit. I am 62. I am retired military with SSDI --- Medicare and Tricare for Life, so I have fair to good medical coverage -- depending on which hospital I am in, or test is run, etc. Thanks for your patience, if you are still awake, I thank you for your time.....
