Is this how I will have to live forever?

I had 2 retinal tears, and procedures on Feb. 19, and Mar. 02, 2010.  On March 4, 2010, I had full retinal surgery, no scleral buckle.  My neurologist (that I was referred to by a neuro-ophthalmogist, who finally said she couldn't help with the photophobia) feels that the Trigemenal Neuralgia I now suffer from started somehow during that surgery: leaving the cryopexy tool on my forehead, or allery to the topical freezing, or placement of the tools in my eye.

Today, I am left with continuous TN pain in the left side of my skull, sudden onset of uncontrollable glaucoma, my left pupil will not move at all, blepharitis in both eyes, and my eyelids droop horribly.  However, the lid repair surgery was cancelled due to fears of having my eyes swell shut, and then not be able to put the glaucoma drops in. I have been seeing an optometrist and ophthalmologist so frequently that the entire staff of 20 people know me.  I feel like "Norm" from the Cheers sitcom, but its just not funny anymore....

Does retinal surgery usually result in this much damage?  Until the first procedure my ocular pressure was always, always normal, and my eyelids were fine.

I am so depressed and scared about all this, its almost a year now, and nothing seems to work.

All advice is welcomed.

I haven't been able to find an example of this muc
