Lattice degeneration

Hello
Recently I went to an eye MD for a check-up. I was diagnosed with lattice degeneration in both eyes. I had also been complaining about floaters and flashes. The MD checked my eye thorougly and said no treatment is required; come back again for a regular check up after 6 months.
My question is; is it okay to be witnessing an occassional flash once in a while with lattice degeneration? Will the flashes disappear after some time or will my condition get worse?

Yes,  if you develop a tear you will usually experience a change in floaters and flashes.
Flashes usually get better in time.
