Lump/Spot/ Bump Thing near Eye

I have something that looks like a spot near the corner of my eye by the nose. I have one on either side. They do not hurt or really iritate, i have had them for around 2 years but one of them has started to get a little bigger. they are pretty much the same colour as my skin (white), just shiney.

Let me add that these are not inside my eye, just near it, directly under the tear duct thing on the inner side of the eye near the nose.
I rub them and fiddle with them quite a lot which probably doesnt help :-D

I live quite far away from any doctors but i can get to one if nesercarry.

Please reply as fast as you can!

Thanks.

Do not  puncture them. This could cause staph, scarring or damage to the eye glands and actual eye.
Wash  eyes with warm water, Johnsons baby shampoo.
Get a clean, white sock, laundered in hot water, free of fabric softener.Fill sock with rice.
Tie filled sock with rice. Heat up in microwave till it is very warm.
Use this as a heat compress to those bumps. make sure that sock is not hot - that is delicate skin near your eyes.
Keep eyes clean, free of moisturizers - apply warm compress nightly. 10 min
See a good eye Doctor as soon as you can.

doing surgery on yourself is a recipe for disaster. If you are in England see your primary care MD in the NHS or if possible see a private sector Eye MD ophthalmologist.

They arent in/on my tear duct (the red corner bit of your eye right?) they are on the skin below it.

im pondering wether i should burst them with a needle, im not sure if there is anything inside them. i dont want to risk turning them into scabs tho

You may be seeing the opening of your tear ducts they are small bumps that appear white with a small opening in them.

In any case if you have not had an eye exam in the last year see an Eye MD find one at www.aao.org
