Macular degeneration

My Optometrist started me on MaxiVision Ocular Formula, two capsules a day, for approximately six months now. My vision seems to clearer but I feel I'm having more "floaters" than I used to. Sometimes they are extremely annoying and seem to interfer with my vision, especially my right eye. Is this normal?

I have mild macular degeneration in my left eye. My retinologist told me to take saffron. I have been taking it now for a bout a month and I notice a mild improvement. There is information on the internet about using saffron for this condition. Results were measurable after three months. Look it up.
