flashes after barrage laser

SS2
Hi, I had Barrage laser treatment  done on both eyes about 20 days ago. I have lattice degeneration of retina in left eye and holes with traction in right eye.I had no problem except headache on the day of surgery.About 7 days later I noticed flickering flashes on the periphery of vision in Rt eye.
I showed to my retinal specialist ,who examined my eyes after dialatation and told me that everything is fine and the flashes are because of local vitreous traction which occur after laser treatment and they will stop after sometime.
Well ,they haven't stop till now.they are very frequent and annoying. Is the above explanation  true and sufficient ? My refraction tests are normal but I am having problem in accomodation of eyes lately. Why is it so?
I have low serum B12 level too(found out yesterday)
Please help.

I am also facing the same issue. Did you recover from flashes? How long does it take?

Hi,

I seem to be facing the same problem as you.. I am 24 and myopic RE(-6.5) and LE(-7.0). I am quite worried. Anyone, can you please tell me if this is  a normal side effect of the laser treatment?

One of the complications of treating lattice is retinal detachment from traction which can cause a tear.   You should be aware of any associated floater and see the ophthalmologist if they occur.

How old are you?   Accommocation problems start around 40, if at an earlier age your are hyperopic.  However, lattice is more commonly associated with myopia.
