Posterior Vitreous Detachment

I got Posterior Vitreous Detachment in my right eye. I had it for 2 Month's now. I get a yellow lighting like flash when i move my eye around i had it for about 2 to 3 week's. No new Floater's and Vision is perfect. What would that kind of flash would that be?  it last no longer then a SEC and i all so have a black line see throw where the flash happen's. I only notice the black line on white back ground's like a laptop screen or wall.

A PVD is a process, not an event, and occurs over weeks to months. So the flash usually means the vitreous body is still creating some traction to the retina.  The flashes are more common in dim or very dark light. Be sure you've had your eyes checked by an eye MD ophthalmologist to be sure no holes or tears  JCH MD

I seen a Specialist 2 weeks after i started to get Flashes and Floaters and he said i had PVD. He told me to come see any eye doctor for check up's every 6 month's for about 2 year's to be on the safe side. But with this flash it look like a lighting strike from the top of the bit to the side of the eye till the middle and the dark like black line i see completely go's away when i open my eye wide and i so don't see it only when i try to see it. Sorry to be a pain in the back side but where i live in the Outback Doctor's and Specialist cost a arm and a leg.

So use Google Images and see what a PVD looks like. Your description sounds like the vitreous tugging on the retina. The type of flashes that are concerning are ultra-bright like a flashbulb igniting within the eye associated with showers of "sooty" type floaters and loss of peripheral vision and cannot be induced.  Unless something changes likely just a curiosity.  I've visited the outback and found it fascinating.

I would say the flash can be bright at sometime's it depends on the back ground i look at. But i can't see the flash in darkness or real bright light only dim lighting and my side vision is good i been testing it out each day if anything change's what i know of. but if it change's to the worse i'll have no say and will have to go to the Ophthalmologist witch cost 180 just to get look at and more if they have to work on it. Australia is the worst in heath or problem's to one self when it come's to money. The Outback is nice. I like the small town i live in its a town everyone know's everyone.
