Myopia both eyes -7.5

Hi !
My son was born at 29 weeks and birth weight 1,415 gms. At 4 weeks he was diagnosed with ROP Stage III. Both eyes fixed by Laser for 4 times. He started to wear glasses at 10 months old (Myopia right -5.5 and left -2.5). when he was 16 months old his eye the same short-sighted. But now he is 22 months old. He measured last visual short -7.5 both eyes. Only 6 month period was very short-sighted. And put his glasses all the time. Doctors office said that the treatment is because children are growing up. Cylindrical shape of the eye is adjusted.

I’m worry to increase his short-sighted quickly

Ask questions

1. Would his eyes be to increase short-sighted continually?
2. In this case, Did his myopia caused by side effects of laser?
3. If his vision was very short. Can he be educated with other children?
4. In the future, Would he be able to maintain by Lasik Laser? If he do what is the restrictive maintain by Lasik Laser?
5. Somebody belief that wearing the glasses for every time will be been their short-sighted to increase very fast. Yes or No?
6. Current technology, what something help to stop or delay short-sighted (ROP). Take some drug (vitamin, etc.)?
7. Can the stem cell treatment help to maintain for this case?

Best Regards
Teety
