Newly Hyperopic at 33??

Please help, i have received a prescription of R: 0.75 -0.75 113, L: +0.75, -0.25 95. I am 33 years old and have never worn glasses before. What has caused this change suddenly? I read that i am too young for presbyopia!! Is it possible to jsut become long sighted for no reason like this. Please hwlp, i am really confused by this. Thanks very much

I will do this when i next will have my pupils dilated (retianl photo). Just one last question, if this is true, would that mean i could be in for a lot fo deterioration before this stabilises? Thanks so much for the advice.

If you were having problems with near vision that means you are most likely hyperopic.  As mention in my first post you need a cycloplegic refraction.  A measurement of you glasses needs with you eye focusing muscle paryalyzed (dilated).  This measure your true refraction.  You are probably +1.5o to +2.00 or more to have symptoms at your age.

Thanks for this reply, very much appreciated. I have had several opinions, and it has resulted in something similar to this, but not identical. i went to the eye doctor as i felt as though i needed some help with near vision. I suppose what i am most concenred about is the fact i could have presbyopia early, thus leaving me open to many more years of potential change then someone who develops this in late 40's. i udnerstand the natural limit is about +2.50 for this condition, related to the max stiffness of the lens?

This is an insignificant prescription.  Get a cycloplegic exam to see if this is really necessary.
