PVD and its risk for retinal tear

HI i am 24 yr old male,For last 3 months i have severe pvd in both eyes.Lots of floaters but no flashes of light.i had visited opthalmagist twice during this period once at the very onset say 4th day and the next visit after 6 weeks. Both of them said retina is fine. But i am worried still whether it could cause a tear? so how long is the risk of a tear from onset of retina.

Most PVD incidents do not culminate in a retinal detachment.  However, in my case, i had a retinal detachment about 6 months after first being diagnosed with with PVD.

HI i am 24 yr old male, myopic -5 and -3.5 in left and right eyes. For last 3 months i have severe pvd in both eyes.Lots of floaters but no flashes of light.I had two dilated exams and found no retinal tear.I wanted to know how long will it take to complete PVD.?
if floaters created already from PVD will cause damage to retina?
Any diet for floarters like anti oxidants foods? zinc ,vitamin c ,anthocynaidns etc will these cure or reduce floaters gradually?
