For about twenty years, I have had constricted (pinpoint) pupils. In fact maybe further back than that. Just inside my forties, it starts to bother me more than it used to.
Why is the question and is there any remedy?
I led an at times wild teenage and early twenties life, that included the occasional (but not regular) use of things such as MDMA (Ecstasy) and LSD, alongside heavy drinking at weekends. Never the heavier drugs though that one finds associated with constricted pupils when looking online.
I split my head open in my late teens on three occasions - bicycle ride, climbing tree and an altercation.
Are either of these good indicators? How would you tell, a brain scan?
I do not though seem to have too much problem either in a dark room or at night, or for what it's worth, in bright light. The main issue, I guess, is that it looks odd and that people do comment on it (and probably more frequently refrain from commenting and make assumptions). My grandmother did go gradually completely blind late in life (not sure of the underlying) and of course I want to make sure that it is not possibly indicative of something of concern.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
No way to tell if these are related to your previous trauma.
Don't worry what it looks like most people will never, ever notice.
