White "paint-like" marks on contact lenses, costing me a fortune!

I have been using Acuve Hydra clear lenses for awhile now and have had nothing but problems. I've been wearing contacts for almost 10 years and have never had an issue. I am going through at LEAST two pairs a week. What happens is, I put new contacts in and a few hours later I start noticing small white dots, which I am assuming are protein deposits.
I called my eye doctor and she said to use the clear care solution every night, which I already do but the next morning, when I go to put them in, there's white smears that almost look like paint streaked across them.  I literately have to try to scrape this off, carefully of course. I am washing my hands, being extra careful with my lenses, cleaning them etc. but nothing is working and my doctor isn't a help at all.
So of course, my question is, what could this be? I know protein deposits and this just seems to be nothing like that as they are large white smears that of course blur my vision.
And yes, brand new lenses today and I came home from work asap to put my glasses on. SO frustrating.

That sounds horrible! oh no:( Why would this be? Especially so fast? I have become quite angry with my eye doctor for ignoring my issue. Like I said I've been wearing contacts for the longest time and since I began using the Acuve with hydraclear, I've had nothing but problems. Thank you for your help. I do appreciate it.

Likely you have GPC or giant papillary conjunctivis. I will post a link for you to learn more. It is one of the most common reasons to have to stop wearing contacts. You should probably consider glasses or refractive surgery (LASIK). See a cornea/refractive surgery Eye MD lophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org
