Pterygium second surgery scheduled

I had a surgery in my right eye to remove pterygium in 2012

Now the pterygium is approaching the pupil so doctor advised for surgery

He is going to use "pterygium excision with conjunctival autograft " technique

I am just asking here for as second opinion if this is the technique with good results for a second time surgery for pterygium to achieve success in quick healing without any side effects and also not recurring again or atleast for a long time

Ideally your surgeon should be a subspecialist in "oculoplastic surgery"  If not, suggest you look around the community within driving distance and get a second opinion. The more times the cornea is operated on the more difficult and unpredictable the result.
