Questio about my eye

I had an accident in my right eye when I was an infant (4 months old, about 25 yrs ago) in Pakistan. I had a surgery then and the vision/wounds were fixed but fast forward to when I was 4 years old, my right eye developed cataracts, had surgery and everything was fine. Came to California in '94, about when I was 7 or 8 the vision in the right eye started to diminish. Now after seeing countess doctors, and surgeons about what happened and what to do next, only to receive the answer "Wait, the technology isn’t here." My question to you like everyone else what can I do? and any recommendation? Currently, I am 26, have zero vision in my right eye,and the cataracts have returned, the left eye is good only requiring glasses. In addition, I have been reading some of the previous responses and I believe I have also corneal arcus.

You can ask the ophthalmologists that take care of you about cosmetic improvement. Generally the type of Eye MD that does this is an occuloplastic surgeon. IF there is no vision a flap of conjunctiva might be pulled over the cornea to reduce sensitivity and an artifical eye shell fit over the eye. It would not move but it would look like a normal eye.

My main question and concern is for the eye to at least look a bit more normal, I can take a picture for you to view it, so you could determine maybe?

If you have a corneal arcus at age 25 you need a fasting blood lipids to rule our high cholesterol and triglycerides. It will not affect your sight but if lipids are high increase risk of stroke or heart disease.

I cannot tell you what can be done because I don't know what's wrong with you. If you have seen multiple competent ophthalmologists and none offer any hope of treatment to improve your vision likely that is the case.

You should concentrate on protecting your good eye from injury or disease and hope that "someday" science advances to where your bad eye can be helped.
