I 28, live in a third world country, I have severe cataract in one eye (from some trauma in childhood I suppose!), the pupil looks white. I don't have vision in that eye. I been diagnosed by some ophthalmologists (contradicting mostly). they said I have weak retina / optic nerve.
I asked the most recent doctor to remove the cataract (at least) cosmetic-wise. although him being reluctant about doing this surgery, he said I might gain some sight there. I asked about his reluctance and he replied there is some chance (5-10% maybe) of that eye having complications and lose it.
some other doctor said nothing about such a complications and said if I want it I can proceed with surgery.
I did some eye scans called B Scan, I will scan and upload.
