What causes yellowing of the eye? How can I correct this problem?

The most common causes: sun damage, pinguecula or pterygium, age least likely true jaundice

I have yellowing of the eyes as well.  It's gotten worse with age...It started when I was 23-24, now I am 38 and it covers the entire visible area  ( used to be white area) of both my eyes.

I am told the condition is called pinguecuela or ptygerium and is only reversed with surgery.

I know ... it's unattractive and potential employers and bf's always ask about it.  :(
