Small area of blurredness/rippling in vision

Hi, Can anyone give any suggestions as to what I have wrong with my eye.  I have what I can only describe as a small area of blurrdness.  It is not very large nor in my direct sight but in my periferal vision.  It is like a circle of little ripples or zig zag/darting effect.  Although it does not effect eye sight in any way, I am constantly aware of it.

Thanks Marty

It is very important to see an ophthalmologist as this could be caused by localized bleeding, inflammation, swelling, retinal detachment, optic nerve problems. Find one at www.aao.org and go as soon as you can.

If this is something that lasts 10-60 minutes, it could be an ocular migraine. In any case, get it checked out by an ophthalmologist (MD eye doctor).
