Something New is wrong with my eyes

I am 49 years old. I recently had a trebeculectomy on my right eye for open angle glaucoma (the left eye had a similar surgery 2 years ago). Pressure is fine in both eyes and my doctor says everything looks good, But something is very wrong. Light is way too bright and things seem closed in (i don't know how else to describe it). I played basketball with my son in bright sunshine this morning and made about 1 of 20 shots (I'm usually not great but never that bad). Something is wrong but what do I do when the doctor says everything looks great?

If the surgery has been less than 8-18 weeks ago it could still be the healing process.  If its been longer you might be having reflexes through the peripheral iridectomy that is part of a trabeculectomy. You best bet is to return to your surgeon for a repeat discussion and examination.
