Spot in vision

I've been having a lot of floaters and flashes of lights for years. I have acute myopic vision which caused my retinas to become very thin.  I had a CNVM (hemorrhage in my retina) 2 years ago. Every time I see a flash or floater , I get crazy anxiety. I see a retina specialist a few times a year. I've been seeing a clear spot for a couple of months. I got it checked out and he said it is a floater.  But, now, I am failing the amsler grid. I see a wavy line right where the floater is. I guess it's back to the doc! ugggg

Just exactly what is a "clear spot"?
Is it a spot that appears "white" in the visual field?

Also, it is possible that drusen could push the photoreceptors to distort the Amsler.
OCT may tell.
Also compute your angle off the center to tell doc where to look.

I can't really give you a medical advice, I'll leave that to the doctors. But I do have some suggestions you could do (If and only if your doctor approves of it), why not try relaxation techniques, deep breathing exercises or meditation? I know for sure they could help you come your nerves. And I also know anxiety have effects on people, and sometimes they tend to worsen one's condition.

Remember panic kills you, you gotta have a cool mind to go through problems, even eye problems. I hope you have the strength to deal with your struggles, and a calm mind to be able to get through it.
