I have a phoria, too. I'm not an eye care professional, but I believe that a phoria is related to a brain (visual processing) problem rather than an eye muscle problem. So it can't be corrected with eye muscle surgery. It is only noticeable if something blocks the vision in one of your eyes. Nobody has ever commented on my phoria (or probably ever noticed it), and I'm in my 50s. Phorias are not uncommon, and many people never become aware that they have this condition. I'm glad that your strabismus surgery was a success! Don't worry about the phoria.
