Surgery for a brown spot in the eye

Dear Doctor,

Can the brown spot in the white part of the eye in the attached picture be removed for esthetical reasons?

Would the operation be risky?

Thanks in advance.

Damien

Seeing an Eye MD ophthalmologist is where you should be.

I am not a doctor, snapback, but I think you should write down the questions you are asking here and present them to the eye doctor you are going to see.  Only a professional who is actually looking at your eye at the time can give you the proper answers.

It has been in my eye for quiet awhile .. I looked at some pictures from my past it was red brown & know it's brown and it has grown in size.
We are seeing. Optholomogy? Something like that I don't know how to spell it .. He is evaluating it trying to see if it grew but it's not growing now it grow before is it possible to remove it if it grow & stopped..
Or cosmetic ? What kind of cosmetic doctor can we see ? We are welling to pay

Before: red marks on scler
After: looked like a regular eye

You have to understand I cry like everyday because of this brown spot I really want it out .

There is no cover that works on the eye ball itself.

I can't tell your race from the photo but if you are a black race and your skin is dark these spots are normal and very common. In white races they are not common and need to be watched carefully. I do not think that any ophthalmologist will want to do surgery for a common, non-serious condition.

Nevertheless you should see an eye MD for a microscopic look at the tissue just to be surre its not a very rare conjunctival melanoma
