The light show is called "Dysphotopsia" and is widely discussed in these forums. Also you can read the papers that Dr. Kutryb and I did on people with dysphotopsia that posted here. In time it usually fades or the brain adjusts (neuro-adaptation)

Quick update, 2 weeks after surgery.
I believe the vision is 20/20 from 20inch to infinite. However, experiencing light glare, multiple vision at certain light source, and 80% blindness at low light situation.
Doctor says all symptoms will improve and assured me that i will have 100% chance of needing YAG laser. So hopefully that'll go well.
Overall positive experience for now.
Yes that Is what I'm saying. use the search feature on this page and search Crystalens

Just going to chime in that my clear vision now moved to intermediate distance, so I guess my Doc is right.
As for search function, I guess I am not sure what to search because the link I posted is the only thing that I found is related to my question.
"No one can tell you where your clear point will settle or if the IOL was dislocated. " Are you saying even doctor couldn't tell even after the examination?
Use the search feature and archives and read the many posts about crystalens and other types of multifocal and accommodating IOLS. Many other people have had the same experience. No one can tell you where your clear point will settle or if the IOL was dislocated.

which agrees with my surgeon's explanation.
I guess, crystal clear vision @ 11 inch just freaks me out.
BTW my expectation was I will be able to see 20/20 distant vision right away then improvement of intermediate and near vision will come later. Immediate 20/20 @ near vision is such an unexpected result.
Wondering anyone had a similar experience or possibility.
