Please help

I'm 22 years old, near sighted with astigmatism in each eye. I've worn my glasses since I was 7, my newest prescription is like -6.50 in left -7.50 in right I'm not sure exactly but that's close, I've been having issues since December and I've been driving myself and everyone around me nuts. Let's get started, for one I do not drink water AT ALL. I don't drink really at all through out the day I'm always dehydrated, I eat mainly salty foods so I'm working on a healthier diet. My symptoms are headaches they happen every day I have spontaneous bright spots that turn into dark purplish spots and go away, this happens without standing up. I'll sometimes get random bright spots that last a minute or two the fade, and then I'll get bright squiggly zig zag kind of lines in center vision a few times daily, also in my left eye in my top and bottom peripheral vision I have this shadow type thing it's hard to explain but I can see through it and I'm guessing that could be from either optic neve damage or surfers eye I have the yellow line next to my iris, it's developed over time but got worse when I got pregnant, my son will be a year old next month. Another thing my prescription is pretty old it's 5 years old so I'm pretty sure my eyes are straining, I can't afford new glasses at the moment so I'm trying to do the best I can with what I have. I have been to my eye doctor many times and in my opinion he's done a great job I got a comprehensive dialated eye exam and he also took photos of my retinas which everything was healthy he didn't find problems and gave me eye drops for dry eyes. I tend to obsess when I have a problem and I'm probably creating problems in my head but eyes are a serious thing!!!!

Thank you for your response, I will most definitely start drinking more fluids, I'm thinking dehydration is my main issue. I've scheduled another eye appointment just to ease my mind and I also have a appointment with my family MD June 9th, I haven't seen a doctor in years due to the fact I haven't had insurance

Its absolutely nuts not to drink water. It's the life fluid of the body and life itself. Eating salty foods only aggravates the problem. One of the symptoms of dehydration is headache.

You might also have migraine headache or disease of the heart, brain, or blood vessels.  If you're serious about your health start drinking lots of water til your urine is clear as water and not concentrated yellow. If you still have problems go in to see your family MD and start a work up of your Zig Zags.
