Told I have irregular astigmatism.

Hello, today I visited Ophthalmologist because I have ghosting vision when looking on white on black background or at night. Also my day vision got a bit worse but not as much as at night. I have this till summer 2016 and appeared suddenly when I saw moon like 1,5 times. I am 19yo. Ophthalmologist told me that I have irregular astigmatism based on some machine test in both eyes (90° and 86°). And my DLI index in left eye is 5,57 (right eye 10). What does it mean? Does it mean I have keratoconus? Thanks

No it doesn't mean necessarily that you have k-conus. If you did he/she should have told you. There are many other causes of irregular astigmatism such as trauma, corneal epithelial disease.  mild forms often require no RX. Moderate forms can sometimes be treated with glasses, often only contact lens give good vision. Worst cases might require resurfacing the cornea with a laser. Discuss with your ophthalmologist

He ordered me for next check in October. Thanks a lot for your responce Doctor.
Sure best of luck
Doctor, I have just realized that by the time I started seeing ghosting (summer 2016) like +- one week I got mycosis on skin on the sides of nose and I cant get rid of it, I went to dermatologist and the creams didnt help yet. I already was prescribed like 3. Do you think the vision can be affected by that? That it has the same cause like the mycosis or is it caused by the mycosis? Thanks for your time.
Don't think they are related
