I had my annual exam in June and my prescription was :
O.D. Sph -4.74 Cyl -0.25 Axis 120
O.S. Sph -4.25 Cyl -0.50 Axis 80
I was having problem with my dry eyes so I went to a doctor recently (different one because we moved over the summer) and they checked my prescription and now it's:
O.D. Sph -5.25 Cyl +0.25 Axis 035
O.S. Sph -5.00 Cyl +0.50 Axis 176
Would my axis on both eyes change that much in such a short time? And the Cyl went from negative to positive... The doctor said overall my prescription wasn't much different, but I didn't notice the astigmatism change till after I left, so I didn't get a chance to ask.
Will this have an impact on my prescription by a lot? And why would it be so different suddenly? Or is it not very different at all?
