Vein or Cyst in My Eye?

Hello Doctor(s),

This is my first post here.  I'm not quite sure what the etiquette is yet.  I felt like there was something in my eye.  I looked in the mirror, pulled my eyelid to the side, and discovered that I have what looks like a cyst (or maybe it's just a vein) in the corner of my eye.  I can't find any information online; however, I did find a similar post on another site that went unanswered.  I've attached the pic from that user.  Any idea what this is?  Should I be worried? Thanks so much.

Good, many of these cysts in that location are tolerated very well.

Hi Dr. Hagan,

Just an update...I was lucky enough to get an eye appointment today.  The doctor said that it was a conjunctival cyst and nothing to worry about unless it starts bothering me.  Thanks again!

On this forum we cannot make an absolute diagnosis. It's bluish color suggests a blood vessel, the smooth shape a benign process. The most likely diagnosis would be a eyelid benign angioma. I would suggest however you see an ophthalmologist for an in person exam. In the USA find one near you at www.aao.org   Unles it starts to grow or bother you nothing  likely  is necessary.
