Viable optic nerve is it worth trying to save?

Hello, I was diagnosed with Choroidal Melanoma Feb 22. Brachytherapy , Mar 22 , Vitreous Hemmorahge Sept 22.  I was put on Maxidex which shot my eye pressure up.  OO, waited before bringing in retina specialist (almost a month) which brought in glaucoma specialist. Avastin? did nothing pain insane. Viteromy, too much corneal staining to see anything. Dr hesitated to do viteromy due to tumour and a rule of thumb to wait a year. I am so so frustrated.

The possibility of useful vision in this eye is probably zero.  Discuss with your various eye surgeons the option of eneucliation (removal of the entire eye).  And of course take exceptionally good care of your remaining eye.

If there is no pain the n does vision come into it.?

Unfortunately pain or lack of pain does not indicate one way or the other about the recovery of vision.  The possibility of useful vision in this eye is probably zero.  Discuss with your various eye surgeons the option of eneucliation (removal of the entire eye).  And of course take exceptionally good care of your remaining eye.
