It is probably due to the suture and should get better after removal. Why don't you discuss this with your doctor?
Dr. O.
Thank you for your reply. The suture, as I wrote, was removed four days after surgery. It has been nine days since the suture was removed, and I haven't seen any improvement. I wondered whether this was normal.

Is it just that the tests show different results, or that you are experiencing worse vision? I ask this because in a talk with my eyeMD I asked him about a visual acuity test that appeared to be "wrong" (not in line with a test I had previously and one I had subsequently). I had not noticed any deterioration in my vision. He told me that when patient cooperation was required the results might be less than exact. Either the person is tired, or is not as attentive as he might be, etc.
Thank you for your message. Sorry to be so slow in responding, but I had a cataract on my other eye removed on Friday and haven't touched the computer until today. To answer your question, I was actually experiencing worse vision and still feel the astigmatism in the eye to which I was referring is still worse than it was after the first operation.
