Thank you so much Doctor. You've helped immenesely. I've definitely learned from this.
Best,
Fernando
The damage usually happens within a few hours. There was a person in my office that did exactly the same thing. The prognosis is good. use this as a learning opportunity.

No it was not me. Its been 48 hours and all I have is an uncomfortable feeling. Am I being paranoid or will I be fine? Would the damage take days to appear?
My vision seems fine. My eyes do feel a little tingly, somewhat burning sensation, but I'm not sure if this is my being paranoid and putting too much emphasis on it, or if it's actual damage that might have been caused.
Thank you so much for your feedback. My vision seems normal. Like Aam0127, I've become kind of paranoid about it because there was a lot of emphasis placed on not staring directly at the sun during this phenomenon, which I learned after the fact. So, if I don't notice any immediate, drastic effect, then I should be fine, right? I have noticed that my eyes seem a little tired, and a tingly sensation, but I'm not sure if it's just because I'm tired or maybe the effect from the sun? Is there a higher risk of staring at the sun during this type of rare phenomenon than staring at the sun on a regular day?
AAM are you the person that was in my office today with this problem? If not then that makes 3 of your as I saw a male with same type of injury and same complaint.

I did the same thing yesterday. How is your vision today? mine seems normal but I am very paranoid now.
If your vision seems back to normal you likely are just fine. If you have a black spot near what you're looking at see an ophthalmologist tomorrow.
