Which is better?

Which is better?

I have recently had cataract surgery in both eyes, the left eye first. I had a Rezoom lens put in the left eye. The surgery for the left eye was late Feb., 2008. I am now 3 wks post surgery, and the lens is getting better, but I still am having trouble with intermediate detail vision. I had a Restor lens put in the right eye just over 5 days ago, to pick up the vision area that I am having trouble with.
I have had a headache ever since the Restor lens was placed in my eye. Will the headache stop, and if so, when? Also, will the Restor lens take care of the troublesome spot? I am a barber, and my intermediate detail vision is very important to me.
So far, I am far from impressed with the Restor lens, compared with the Rezoom lens. How can things be corrected, both visually, and the headache?
Any ideas???

Ask your surgeon about the headaches. Time will tell about intermediate vision. Remember that even "happy" patients that have had multifocal IOL surgery with Crystalens, ReZoom and ReStor wear glasses for many things. Prepare yourself for wearing no line bifocals for "some things".

It is not my first choice, but I have come to grips with wearing readers/bifocals during work time.
It is when I look any direction with my right eye (left eye doesn't hurt), I have pain, not excruciating, but enough to have to take Tylenol or any other otc meds. If I let the Tylenol get out of my system, the pain comes  back with a vengeance.
Is there any chance that the Restor lens could be replaced with another Rezoom lens? Or how could the headaches be taken care of?

Only your surgeon can answer that. If you don't like the answers get a second opinion. Find one at www.aao.org

I have restore lens on both eyes, and have no problems with headaches.  So far, I am completely pleased with my lens.  I don't know why the one is giving you trouble; hope it works out for you.
