allergy of pupil dilation drops

2 days ago i went for an eye test. pupil dilation drops were administered. 10 hrs later i developed swelling around the eyes, and severe irritation of the area including itching . i think it is an allergy.i was prescribed cetgel one tablet a day as an antihistamine and flupred eyedrops one drop twice a day for one day only.my face still looks out of a horror film with the swelling and the irritation/itching continuing unabated.how many days will this last and what is the best treatment for the swelling and the irritation to subside?

Since I don't know what was used and you need treatment you should direct this to the "eye doctor" or your personal physician.

The only non specific treatment is cool compresses
