Thanks for your info. it is refreshing to know that someone else has the discharge. I have just had a swab taken and the culture has come out negative so I am back to square one. I have been reading up on a product called sodium sulpatyde and I will ask the dr about this on my next visit. I am desparate to try anything as the discharge can look really nasty especially to other people you meet.**
Prednisone should not cause those symptoms. Get him in to see an Ophthalmologist Eye MD. Find one at www.aao.org

My husband always has a lot of discharge coming from his eyes like yellowish sometimes white. He cleans his eyes but he still always has staff running through his eyes and in the morning is worst. Then he has these white head pimples all appearing constantly on his face and neck which get worst after a prednisone treatment. He has asthma and is always inhaling the pump. He is overweight too, he says he got allergies.
I wonder what's wrong with him, he said is for the prednisone.
That much discharge is not typical of blepharitis. See a different ophthalmologist for a second opinion ideally a cornea/external eye disease Eye MD. Find one at www.aao.org
