Hi,
I was sent to a nuero opthalmologist as I had nystagmus and an odd sensation of my eye twisting, accompanied by nausea. Whilst there thy found I had narrow angles and I'm going for laser treatment on Thursday. The pressure in my eyes is normal but I also have inflamed muscles ( found on ultrasound) and 'gritty' eyes.Would all this be caused by the 'narrow angle glaucoma'. Angles less than 10% and closed in places. Having read your posts I assume the laser is necessary? Also, I am on synthroid and had, what I now think, was an attack when the dose was too high ( extreme eye pain, loss of vision, nausea) Is this possible? Thanks
Yes those could be symptoms of a subacute angle closure attack. Yesterday a woman came to my clinic with angle closure in both eyes and pressure of 65 anf 47. Best have the laser and prevent that from happening.
Its Better to have Laser and make your review as suggested by your Ophthalmologist , No need to be panic , if you have regular follow up with your ophthalmologist as he suggested it can be taken care .,
