Retinal detachment????!?!

Firstly, i really want an answer that is go to doctor asap..cuz I know that..i'm a grown man about to cry right now about going blind..

I was playing basketball today and got elbowed in the eye. I lost my right eye peripheral vision (felt like i was crosseyed wen i looked to my left) for about 10 minutes or so. As it got better, I felt like the right eye had some kind of veil covering it but i could see fine..which i know is symptom of retinal detachment.. Right now (about 1 hour after) I can see, and the veil kind of sensation seems to have gone away..

So I dont want the answer you probably have it go to the doctor right now,, but i want to know if theres a possiblity I don't have retinal detachment cuz its better now..I'm really scared beyond what i have ever felt in my life cuz i dont wanna go blind.

More questions: is the operation or whatever they do really expensive? About how much does it cost? Pleaes answer..i'm so scared right now i could cry.

Any type of trauma to the eye must be looked at seriously. If you wait you may have serious eye problems down the road, or even go blind. I wouldn't hesitate to get it checked as soon as possible..

See an ophthalmologist and worry about payment later.  You are very young and do not want to loose vision in that eye.
