dry macular degeneration
I have MD 5 years. A blister PED formed 2009 and distorts my vision. Everything is a little wavy but I can read, drive, etc. It might stay a month and my vision is restored back to not seeing wavy poles. I am on fish oil, flax seed, preservision, multi vitamin, zexathin for the MD. I have now been told to take Depakote for my eyes which is designed to treat seizure disorders. I have read it makes MD worse causing wet MD. Also told it could be my blood pressure which fluctuates from 127 over 83 to 135 over 80. Has anyone used Depakote for their eyes? Also has anyone heard that the blister.

I am not aware of using Depakote for macular degeneration.

My retina specialist recommends saffron for macular degeneration. It is supposed to improve the condition.
