Its normal to see minute flashes when you move your head side to side in pure dark room, but if you see very bright flashes like almost one is staring torch at your eyes for a brief period then its an abnormality.
Flashes that we see inside eye look similar to camera flashes but not that much strong. Tiny specks of flashes in bright environment is usually due to eye floaters.
Thanx for the reply, is the bright flashes u mentioned similar to torch lights or tiny specks of light.
Since you have already consulted eye doctor & confirmed no tear or hole in retina then there is no need to worry. Re consultation is only needed if you experience bright flashing lights in a pure dark room (like inside a dark room at night).
The flashes you are now experiencing might be the light reflected from these tiny floaters in lighted environment.
I got a floater in my left eye soon after my pregnency, now it has changed the position and in the center of my vision, also i have noticed increase in faint cell like floaters, nowdays occasionaly i see a small speck of light which i assume are flashers, is this somethign i shud be concerned of or is this somethign natural which i have started noticing cz of my anxiety abt floaters?..can u please tell me how exactly flashers look like and when shud i be concerned...i got my retna checked and doc says no holes or tear
I think its due to your eye worries, if you experience bright flashes in dark room like during night then go to a good eye doctor for checkup otherwise ignore it.
