i just came home from my pediatrician.  she said my 7 years old son has in both eyes a blue ring around his iris.  she also did his blood work and said he is healthy.  Please explain

The problem is called corneal arcus and you were told correctly there is no treatment for corneal arcus other than to try and get cholesterol under control, even then arcus not go away. It ever causes bad vision and remains confined to the periphery of the cornea.

I have blue and grey white rings around mine due to high cholesterol.  The doctors have done nothing. Dont count on them to help u r tell u the truth especially if u r on Medicaid
