I have had excess mucus and eye irritation for over 20 years. Only in one eye. Tried drops, restasis, eye plugs, and numerous other fixes. I constantly feel like something is in my eye and some days can't help digging in my eye for relief. However, the pain becomes so bad when I try to find "what is in my eye" that I can't stand it. My eye waters so badly I can't see. I am scheduled for a biopsy based on damage to my eye on Oct. 7th. Very scared and unsure of what this procedure will entail. The doctor says I'm silly to be scared. That it's no big deal.
Do you have any information that may help me be more informed. Any ideas of what might cause this is just one eye.
The right eye never bothers me. Only the left. Weird.

Thanks, the best course I took in high school was typing. If I wasn't a fast typist I couldn't do this.

Thank you. I am just nervous about the whole thing. My left eye has become smaller than the right and bulges a little. People comment all the time "What's wrong with your eye?" I hear it all the time.
I don't know how you have time to answer all these peoples questions, but it is nice to have someone intelligent and informed who answers you while you are waiting and scared.
I am a yoga instructor and I would say you are providing yourself with plenty of good karma.
