foggy vision from cataract surgery with poor night vision.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes about a year ago, lens were implanted and i saw better for awhile. then i noticed a foggy film over the eyes. I also can not see good at night. I had the film removed from both eyes but it did not do any good. do I have bad lenses in them or what. I am 60 and about to give up driving due to this problem. any suggestions would help. thanks.

you need to see an ophthalmologist. This could be Marcus-Gunn Jaw Winking syndrome see http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1213228-overview    or it could be blepharospasm.

See and Eye MD ophthalmologist soon.

It is highly unlikely that you have a bad IOL as in almost all of the world they are manufactured to high standards.  Also you should be talking about your vision wearing the best glasses possible. Often good vision comes only when wearing glasses.

There could be other problems in the eye like age related macular degeneration. Suggest you get a second and third opinion from ophthalmologists outside of the one that did your surgery.
