Blur vision after having headaches.

My son is 12 years old.He was having headaches on and off for the past two weeks...I took him to the ER...they did a CT Scan and it came normal.I took him yesterday to my PCM and he said it's migraines. He didn't have any vision problems while he had the headaches.Last night he took medication for the headaches just once (Mitrin EQ).He was doing fine after that all night...this morning he woke up without any pain but his vision is blurry.I took him to the doctor again...they didn't find anything bad with him.

What can this be? I read the side effects from the medicine and it doesn't say anything about vision problems.

Be thankful that the CT didn't show anything serious. Better a little uncertainty than have the tests show the cause is very very serious. Good luck.

I would suggest you make an appointment with an Eye MD physician-ophthalmologist for a medical eye exam. When you schedule the appointment tell them you need a visual field test at the same time.
