headache when wearing glasses

Sometimes (mostly in the bus) I get headaches when I'm with my (non prescription) sun glasses.
It's more a pressure than a headache, on the back of the head(behind the ears) on both sides.
When I take off the glasses it disappears immediately.
I can't not wear sun glasses because the sun hurts my eyes.
I do have a small number(less than 1) since I had trouble reading from the board at school but I don't have the need for prescription glasses in everyday life and I haven't used them at all since school(10 years ago).
Those headaches appear only sometimes and get more frequent in the summer.
I have them for a few years.
Now they started happening on my way to the bus.
I went to an eye doctor. He checked and said that everything is fine and he has no idea about my problem.
I'm lost.
What should I do?

I can't stop wearing sunglasses because the sun hurts my eyes.
A hat will not help.
The optometrist says the sun glasses are good quality and maybe they are too tight.
He made them less tight but it didn't help.
Neurologist has no idea as well.

Then I would suggest you see another ophthalmologist one that specializes in cornea and external diseases. Ask them to rule out dry eyes also. You need to see an Eye MD not an optometrist at this point.  JCH MD

We'll you have identified your problem. Healthy eyes. Intolerance to sunglasses that are over the counter. There are only a few options: 1. stop wearing sunglasses and wear a hat for sun protection 2. See an ophthalmologist or optometrist. Explain the problem and try custom made, custom fitted sunglasses.
