Vitrectomy recovery

I am recovering from retinal detachment repair with a vitrectomy and gas bubble. I am 4 wks in and bubble apears about 50% gone. I am experiencing a blind spot in my field of vision above the bubble line, and a "glow" in the eye at night in darkness. I also get headaches unless I patch the eye. I am also experiencing a flash with eye movement in the other eye though the doctor sees nothing yet.
I am worried about the blind spot and if my recovery will be in time for a future repair on the other eye.

Thank you....I will take the info to my next appointment which is 1 1/2  weeks out. Hopefully everything is as "normal" as my last visit, the left is still stable and symptoms are normal to recovery.
Thanks
