Computer eye strain

Hi,
Just recently i have been getting eye strain  whilst on the computer, I never used to get this and it has only come on the past couple of days. I have tried adjusting the brightness, distance from screen etc. I have had an eye test recently and she said that my vision is perfectly fine. I was wondering if this will have any permanent damage to my eyes or deteriorate my vision?
Many thanks ,
Kieren

You should not have from using the computer unless you have a refractive error or need reading glasses.  See an eye doctor.  If you are young ( less than 40) you may have  hyperopia.
