Late onset corneal haze

I had PRK in July 2007.  Everything went great with the surgery and my eyes were fine as of January 2008.

However, sometime this past spring I noticed my vision worsened.  I think that I have developed late onset corneal haze.  At my last appointment, my doctor told me small white cells were developing on my cornea.  She described this as part of the normal healing process and recommended that I have an enhancement.  I have also experienced regression in one eye.

I have an appointment with the surgeon in a few weeks.  Any advice on my treatment options or questions that I should ask the surgeon?  Most of what I have read says that an enhancement surgery is the way to go.  I am also having problems finding information about risks from enhancement surgery.  For example, what are the chances that I make the corneal haze worse etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'll make sure that is the first question that I ask.

Providing the cornea is not too thin the risks are minimal. Get the information from the surgeon. If you are still uncomfortable get a second opinion. Good luck.
