It often helps to make a list of questions before you meet with your physician team.

Thank You for your time, and i am very grateful for your reply. you have given me a positive way of thinking ,that this is the right course of action ,to be taken regarding my daughter's health issues.as i am left in the dark with those who are involved with her .and i hope this is the outcome.

Anna3972. This is an ultra-serious problem. Even if the tumor is not cancerous it can be blinding or fatal due to growth crushing other structures in the skull. She will need the services of a very specialized team that often includes neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists, ENT and pediatricians. This is a terrible thing for the child and your family. I've been through a similiar thing with a close relative.

this initially started when my 15 year old daughter was admitted into hospital with vomiting, increase in seizure activity and reluctance to eat and drink. she suffers from severe epilepsy along with severely special needs.as a result of the investigations into the cause of her ill health,it has been discovered that she has a tumour behind her right eye which is resting on the optic nerve. This tumour has grown rapidly over the last few weeks and now has affected the vision in both of her eyes.at this point she has no sight in her right eye and significant visual impairment in her left eye.medics are currently looking at what can be done to save the remaining sight in her left eye.the primary concern raised by medics at this time is to take the necessary steps to alleviate some of the pressure on her brain which has been caused by fluid build up,and causing her to have pains in her head, all she is receiving is pain relief to manage this.and alongside this she will have further MRI scans carried out to find out if additional tumours are developing and a biopsy of the existing tumour will be taken to establish if the tumour is cancerous or not.if the tumour is thought to be cancerous ,decisions will be made about the type of treatment she will have to undergo at that point.
Hello Dr.John
We went to opthalmologist he gave two eye drops and a tablet, he said that was caused by infection, so keep away from dust particles, it may occur in future....
thanks Dr.John
Use the search feature and archives to read about chalazia RX. warm compresses, lid cleaning with SteriLid foam lid cleaner or Occusoft foam lid cleaner. If gets worse see ophthalmologist.

This is very serious surgery and often the vision cannot be restored. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO GET THIS INFORMATION FROM THE SURGICAL TEAM. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND ASK THEM.
The most important eye is the other "good' eye. Take care of it and prevent injury of disease. Ask the surgeons about the good eye and if it has any problems.
