wrong surgery

my sons eye used move up toward his knows when he turns his eyes and he had a surgery done one year ago when he was 2 to both eyes the surgery was succesfulmbut now his eyes are moving again toward his nose do the dr said we should do hm another one its the fiber linking he muscle back.after he came out of the operation room i was shocked to see that his right eye was elevated and up even when hes looking straight and cant look down so he had to operate on his eye again the same day,the dr said that by mistake he cut half of the muscle which is responsible to pull his eye down so had to stich the muscle back and shorten it to become stronger ,now his eyes are better but the same eye is  stil a bit higher than the other one.what should i do now?

Only time will tell. This surgery is very difficult especially if previous surgery and cutting "the wrong muscle" is no rare or a sign of incompetence. Give your surgeon an A+ for honesty and telling you and going back to fix.

Either stick with the present surgeon and see how things go or ask for a second opinion
