seeing lines

I've recently noticed that when I jump, I see flashes of a few jagged lines across both eyes. However, it only happens when I jump and they aren't really flashes of light, just kind of darker colored jagged lines. I was wondering if this is serious, like a sign of retinal detachment?

This sounds similar to what I have been seeing in both eyes. Mine is with a certain type of head movement. Really weird but I have had a retina exam. You should too just to be sure. I am experiencing a period of stress and anxiety and I think this has led me to focus on these much more. I also have more time as have recently just split from my GF. I noticed them the day after the break. Coincidence? I think not.

You are observingly a entopic phenomena due to the vitreous tugging on the retina. Its not a symptom suggestive of a RD but you should nevertheless see an Eye MD for a complete exam.
