spots in eyes

My husband was out all day on a boat in the sun, when he came back home he was seeing a large brown spot in his vision the size of about a 25cent coin, he does wear glasses and he did not have them on when he was out in the boat, could this be a migrane (migraine) coming on, or signs of a stroke, or simply the cause of over exposure in the sunlight out on water? he does not have any other physical ailments and he is feeling fine except for his vision.

Thanks

if the spot is just in one eye, it could mean serious problem. get it checked out ASAP.
